[Getting flattened by something big or heavy for someone as beefy as Raph sounds like it would be pretty gratifying. Less so for someone like his mom who values her mobility. He's not sure how he'd vibe with it, either.
He will happily scritch at her fur, though, marveling that she is indeed incredibly soft. Gosh...]
[Fortunately, she has no interest in annoying Casey the same way she does his mom. She'll plod along next to him for a bit, with her big fluffy paws. She's warmer in this form anyway. Hmm, mental note to self for the next time Donnie sends her temperature spiking downward...
...sigh.] Anyway, I probably won't try for any more forms now. I got cute and feral and powerful all on lock! Can't be too greedy.
[He won't fuss too much - he liked being petted in his furrier form, but it does admittedly feel a bit weird if it goes on too long, since he's still a person (unless it's Hunter or Rue whom he would allow to pet him forever tbh) - but he's obviously cheered and grateful for the indulgence. Between this and the fairy dragon, he's almost on his way to having a good day despite, well, this whole situation.]
I know there's some people who can get basically infinite forms, but for me, three's been enough. Not even a greed thing, just- I think I'd have trouble keeping track if I had too many.
[Mostly combined with all of the magic he's been learning. He's sure not starved for choice on what he can fight with anymore.]
[Casey considers that. It sure is possible, especially in this world. He's walking proof of that.]
I like it. I'd offer to teach you, but you're better off learning something stronger than the glyph me and Hunter have been working on. It's still only good at healing really light cuts at most. There's some great healers in this world, though. You should try for sure!
[Yeahhh Casey definitely asked said therapist about this before. Apparently you need god or something to use his magic?? if enduring the end of the world didn't make him find god, this sure won't.]
I think it'd make the rest of us feel better, too. You should ask Rue, they can heal, and it's amazing.
I'm... not sure. I didn't ask because magic never worked for me before coming here, and when I started learning Hunter's, it was because he gave me a staff, and that felt different from learning actual spells. But you've already got that fire thing, right? So maybe that'd get you a head start.
Hmm. [She considers that.] I guess it couldn't hurt to ask. I know there's a magic school, but if I can learn directly from a resident I'd prefer it. [Still big mad at Thirteen, lmao.]
[The question next makes him hesitate, shifting his bag's weight a little uncomfortably.]
I... think so? I might not know until later. I got something, anyway.
[Whether or not it's what he wanted... well, he's not sure he knows what he wanted, actually. But he had wanted to put a lock on the lab, and they accomplished that. It's enough for now.]
[Not really. Just, you know, she was kind of hoping she'd see something that would make this whole thing make sense. All she saw were things that made it worse.
But at least he didn't come down here on his own.]
One-hundo percent, tacos and ice cream. Maybe not even in that order.
[He could binge some ice cream and then more unhealthy after, for sure. He takes out his staff and gets it hovering, offering his hand out to her. Your chariot awaits!]

NEVERMIND, instantly derailed by big fluff. His eyes get so big, and he drops down at once, reaching a hand out.]
Oh my gosh... you look... so soft...
[please please please let him pet you let him pet you let him let him aaaaa]

I'm also heavy as hell, which other Casey is big mad about. But Raph sure loves it.

Yeah. I think I wanna shift my focus to other things, anyway. Maybe see if it's possible to pick up some kinda healin' magic.

Yeah... maybe it'll make me feel better, havin' somethin' like that to help out.

Can Rue teach others or is it a fae thing?

[Even if he wasn't ridiculously biased, it'd still be true.]

I'll ask 'em when I'm over there this week. [You know, when she vanishes with a plate of pastries from Cad's and goes to say hi, lmao.]
no subject
[He'll even be nice and not ask for details on however that went, though he'd certainly check in on her after.
Anyway, the exit! He takes a moment to re-gather his gear from the access door and hefts his bag over his shoulder.]
C'mon, let's get the hell out of here already.
no subject
[She hesitates even so, just before the exit.] Did you get what you wanted?
[You know, sabotage, venting. Closure. Or some closure.]

Well, I got to beat up a chair.

A chair that totally deserved it.
[It was ugly and MEAN and needed some cushions. Definitely the worst of its sins.]
no subject
Wore me out, though. I think we deserve tacos and icecream, don't you?
