No, I hope not. I want to believe that she wouldn't have, that Thirteen isn't that cruel on purpose.

Thirteen doesn't always make sense, nor is she always the kindest, but I wanna believe we'll all be okay. That this is just a fluke right now.

For the hurt she has brought down upon us, she has given us ten times as much joy. I don't want to believe that she would have done it on purpose, not when you boys deserved it the least out of anyone else here.

You're right, of course, Peter. I won't let this shake my faith that Thirteen wants the very best for us. It had to have been a mistake.

He also knows this situation is scary enough as is. He isn't about to make it any worse for Rue. For any of them in this group chat.]
